Hello all,    our site has been down for years and there have been many updates to share.

Tracey is still a missing person but her husband, Dennis Tetso has been charged with 2nd degree murder without a body, and is currently serving a 18 year sentence in a Maryland prison.   We still hold out hope that she will be found so her family and friends can give her a proper goodbye.

He has not confessed and obviously there is enough of something for  Baltimore County to indict him for first degree murder without a body.  So sorry to hear about the Va girl.  It doesn't sound good but my prayers go out to her, her family and friends

Sketch made from remains found in Westminster
By Charles Schelle, cschelle@patuxent.com

Posted 8/10/09

(Enlarge) Police on Monday released this sketch, created using information from skeletal remains of a woman found in Westminster this past March. Police said the woman had been dead three to 10 years.
WESTMINSTER — State investigators released a sketch today in hopes that someone can determine the identity of a woman whose skeletal remains were found this past March in Westminster.

Forensic specialists from the Office of the State Medical Examiner believe a skeleton found March 24 behind the Goodyear Retread Plant & Tire, 915 Baltimore Blvd, Westminster, are the remains of a white female in her mid- to late-20s.

Examiners also believe she has been dead at least three to 10 years, and estimate the woman to have a petite to extremely petite build — though they have not estimated her weight.

Police  determined the victim had died as a result of homicide.

State Police investigators obtained assistance from Detective Evelyn Grant, a certified forensic artist with the Baltimore County Police. Grant examined the victim’s skull and, through her expertise, was able to develop a composite drawing of what the victim may have looked like, police said.

What makes missing persons cases difficult is that over a period of a decade, hundreds of people are considered missing in Carroll County, Shipley said.

Fourteen individuals have been eliminated as a possible match, through the help of dental workers.
“It’s a long, arduous process of working through this,” Shipley said.

The records of the skeleton remain on file in the National Crime Information Center, Shipley said.

Officers throughout the country can check the database for potential matches. The farthest someone has looked for a match is New York, he said.

Anyone who might recognize the person in the drawing is asked to call Sgt. Tina Becker at 410-386-3029.

Anyone who remembers what the area of Route 140 just east of Westminster was like as far back as 25 years ago is also asked to contact Maryland State Police investigators as well, as police are trying to determine the lay of the land.

11  General Category / General Discussion / MISSING PERSONS FAMILY WATCH AMW TONITE 7-18-2009 on: July 18, 2009, 10:12:44 AM
Newsbrief from Kelly Jolkowski with Project Jason
Hello everyone,

I have good news for you in the form of a new awareness venture for your
missing loved one with the America's Most Wanted (AMW) TV show.

The Missing Persons Producer asked me to make sure you knew about this, and
to encourage you to tune into the show to see the announcement. This is
something that I know many of you have wanted and asked for and now it's
here.

We all know how visuals are critical in the search for missing persons.
We've always believed in more than visuals, and that is in the sharing of
your story. What better way than to get the face of your missing loved one
in the public's eye, tell your story in your words, and add the personal
element to help others understand and want to help.

The producer tells about My Story in her own words:

"The launch of the  "My Story" segment of America's Most Wanted will take
place this Saturday night.  My Story will allow the loved ones of missing
persons to submit video to America's Most Wanted about their case, told in
their own words. As the show is configured it will air 46 minutes into the
show.  For people that miss it,  the show is always available at www.amw.com
<blocked::http://www.amw.com/>  after the show airs.  On Saturday night
people will be able to go on www.amw.com <blocked::http://www.amw.com/>  to
see, download and print the instructions and guidelines for submitting video
to us.

We only have 46 minutes of airtime each week.  The missing cases will be
competing with other cases for airtime.  Our website has the capacity to
hold these videos as well so that in addition to a larger presence of
missing case information being on the web, we will be putting the videos up
once edited."

She would like to know what you think about this and your comments after
seeing the show. If you email me with those, I will compile them and send
them to her. Be sure to indicate if you wish to remain anonymous, or sign
your name to your comments.

In addition to this exciting announcement, I have been told that two
families will have their missing loved one featured on the show.

Victim's Mother Reacts to Son-in-Law's Murder Charge
  Reported by: Jeff Hager
Last Update: 6/19 5:13 pm

"They'd been having problems for months,” said Cathy Gardner, “He'd moved all his stuff out of the house and was just trying to move him out."

In fact, Tracey had started seeing a co-worker, and on the night of her disappearance, she was supposed to be accompanying him to a Motley Crew concert.

When her husband, Dennis Tetso, called police to report her missing the next day, it was virtually the last time, he would play a role in trying to find her.

Friends and family members gathered six weeks after her disappearance to search for Tracey, but Dennis was no where to be found.

Gardner says when he wouldn’t even let her collect Tracey’s things from their house, she knew he had killed her.

Police had toll record showing Tracey’s car had cleared the Harbor Tunnel at 8:00pm the night she disappeared.

They had security video from the Day’s Inn hotel on Ritchie Highway, which showed someone leaving it there, and Tracey’s credit card and financial records showed no activity.

Coupled with the fact she had not packed a bog nor run away in the past, police suspected the worst.

Her mother’s only remaining hope now is for justice albeit delayed.

"This may be selfish on my part, but I think an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.  I know that won't happen, but I think he should have to go through what she did,” said Gardner, “I don't feel you or I or anybody else should support him for the rest of his life behind bars."

Police arrested Dennis Tetso where he worked at the Precision Concrete Construction Company in a job, which Gardner says may have provided him with options in making her daughter’s body disappear.

Where will you be on November 17, 2009.

It's time to take a stand for Tracey and tell your boss you won't be in today because you will be attending the start of Tracey's murder trial.

Make a banner, make signs and come out and show your support.

If Tracey meant anything to you.....be there....if you have a missing person that you know.......be there.........if you have a loved one who has been murdered...........be there!!!!   Show her family and friends that she is missed........obviously not by some people...ahem...but we have never given up on her......and were not about to start.

Tracey Gardner-Tetso Search Continues Years Later
An attorney for a Rosedale man accused of killing his missing wife says his client is at home with a monitoring device after posting $50,000 bail.

Jessica Kartalijia reports in 2005, Tracey Gardner Tetso was on her way to a Motley Crue concert when she vanished.

Last Thursday, police arrested the prime suspect in her disappearance, her husband, Dennis Tetso.

He spoke with Eyewitness News when she disappeared.

"I woke up in the morning and she wasn't there. I thought she stayed at a friend's house," said Dennis Tetso back in March 2005.

Monday, Tetso, who's charged with first-degree murder, was released from jail on $50,000 bond.

"He's been a suspect in this case for four-plus years.  He never went anywhere, he's stayed in the same place he always has been," said Dave Irwin, suspect's attorney.

News of Tetso's arrest offered some relief to Cathy Gardner.

"There is no doubt in my mind that she was passed over and I believe that they have the right person," said Gardner.

For years, she's been searching tirelessly for her daughter and says she's surprised Tetso's bail was so low.

"I tell you, my knees just went, they were like jello, I thought, all this time, four years," said Gardner.

Tetso, who's being monitored electronically, went back to working construction this week. His murder trial will begin in November.

"He's looking forward to November 17 when after all this four-years plus of hell that he's gone through, he can finally prove his innocence," said Irwin.

Gardner says she's not giving up hope that her daughter's remains will be found, so her and her family can have closure.

"It's not like we can go put flowers, we can say okay, here she is.  We don't know.  Still the unknown," said Gardner.

In the meantime, she too is preparing to face her alleged murderer in court.

"Keep your prayers going; we have a tough road ahead.  It's not over yet," said Gardner.

Tracey Tetso's body has not been found and Irwin said Tuesday there's nothing linking his client to the crime.
